The Death of the Obvious

A while ago I noted that:
There is nothing more frustrating on god's green earth than trying to use a powerful application to accomplish a simple task.
Designer Phil Simpson (designer of the Eat Everywhere app and the "Missing Manual" book series, among other triumphs) expanded the thought while condensing the word count, coughing up this gem of wisdom:
The obvious no longer exists.

  1. Inclined to agree. Was reading about a squirrel who got into a house through the chimney. I have black walnut trees so this has come up for me. The family called animal control instead of opening the front door for a bit. It wasn't even cold in their locale. You took down your Betty White post. /cry
